Value-added services live in an awkward place: the platform is enterprise-grade and carrier-integrated, but the business demands the release cadence of a consumer product. Every market has its own configuration, its own operator integrations and its own regulatory constraints, which multiplies the regression surface with every country added.
The platform had accumulated the usual answer to this — a long manual certification cycle before each release. It worked, and it was the reason releases were slow.
The engagement is ongoing, which is the outcome we actually care about. Automation suites decay: the ones that survive are the ones somebody owns after the project that created them has closed.
